Department Maintenance Manager
Position: Mechanical Engineer - Unit Maintenance Manager
Location Position: North Kansas City, MO.
Business Unit: Factory/Manufacturing
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Primary function
Ensure the reliability and availability of assets and structures assigned to the plant, utilizing the IPS management/Reliability system method.
Lead the development and management of reliability and capacity increase projects within the designated area.
Manage costs and employ reliability practices to ensure optimized execution of activities with excellence, meeting minimum maintenance quality requirements, and maximizing resource utilization.
Demonstrate competency in managing key reliability and maintenance indicators, fostering personnel development, implementing routines, and cultivating an understanding of KPI management.
Oversee active outsourced contracts and collaborate with purchasing to develop new supplier relationships.
Lead asset reliability efforts, deploying new technologies or management methods to extend asset lifespan and minimize non-value-added activities. Utilize methodologies such as Six Sigma and Applied Statistics, Predictive/Proactive Analysis & Tools, RCM, FMEA, WCM Advanced Tools, and Digital Manufacturing.
Ensure safety, adherence to cost targets, people upskilling and factory productivity while upholding quality standards.
Main deliveries Business:
Implement a structured and standardized maintenance management system throughout the assigned plant.
Serve as an interface between maintenance units or departments, coordinating resource allocation for execution, including purchase orders, service contracts, immediate purchases, and others. This fosters greater synergy, resulting in reduced costs and capital expenditure.
Establish standardized procedures for technicians and predictive management within the department to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
