As a Mechanical Engineer intern, you will manage the project and support production during the implementation of the design.

What you’ll do
- Solve customer problems through the design of new or modifications of existing equipment.
- Create drawings and 3D models for production of new or modification of existing equipment.
- Coordinate with purchasing and shop personnel to insure all necessary components are acquired.
- Support production during the implementation of designs.
- Support customer questions regarding supplied equipment.
- Assist in the creation of presentation reports regarding customer issues or equipment recommendations.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
What you’ll need
- Pursuing bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university in Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures. Ability to correspond with others in a professional manner and assist with procedural manuals.
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts to designs such as free body diagrams and load calculations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Computer Skills: Spreadsheet and Word Processing Software, Engineering Software
