Job Overview:

Responsible for monitoring daily shift reports for equipment issues and quality spikes. Monitors equipment for proper functioning/capacity. Sets project schedules, keeps projects on track, and completes reports in a timely manner. Assists/drives equipment modifications, equipment repairs. Maintains/updates documentation. Assists with equipment repairs. Modifies machines and monitors production trial runs, issuing technical reports for all machine modifications. Utilizes the latest AIAG (Automotive Industrial Alliance Group). Must be able to communicate technical data. Other duties as assigned.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

**

  • Responsible for monitoring daily shift reports for equipment issues and quality spikes.

  • Monitors equipment for proper functioning, capacity/quality.

  • Must be able to set project schedules, keep projects on track, and complete as assigned by manager.

  • Responsible for completing reports as assigned by manager in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Assists/drives equipment modifications to improve production, quality, safety, and cost reduction.

  • Assists with equipment repairs as requested by maintenance lead and approved by manager.

  • Responsible for maintaining/updating documentation including PFMEA’s, control plans, process check sheets, job instructions, and engineering change requests.

  • Modifies machines and monitors production trial runs for new products and changes to existing products. Must issue technical report for all machine modifications in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Must be able to utilize the latest AIAG (Automotive Industrial Alliance Group) Core Tools and TS Standards. Training provided by a qualified instructor as required.

  • Monitor Zones for proper 5S organization.

  • Ability to communicate technical data.

  • Ability to react to basic system alarms and reset as necessary.

  • Ability to communicate and work effectively in close proximity with co-workers to inform them of work-related problems, production updates, and to plan, organize, and complete job tasks.

  • Regular and consistent attendance.

  • Agility in multitasking in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

  • Follows all company policies, procedures and safety rules preventing on-the-job injuries by maintaining a clean safe operation and work area.

  • Understand and support the Quality Management and Environmental Management systems.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.

  • Support continual improvement initiatives.

  • Support JSOX compliance.

  • Overtime as required to meet customer demands.

  • Other duties as assigned.
