Position Title: Mechanical Engineer

JOB SUMMARY
The Mechanical Engineer will innovate and create products that support the growth of the Company and Engineering Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Focus on Engineering design and Production
Hands-on use of software for product design
Support production in fabrication and machining, estimating & procurement
Participation in product compliance (UL, ETL, etc.) activities
Lead and manage regulatory testing programs to comply with UL/IEC standards
Participates in design documentation reviews to ensure that the released designs comply with regulatory standards
Develop projects from conceptual design to full manufacturing capability
Promote and Develop Engine sales to other Manufacturers
Develop ideas for new products to manufacture
Acts as project manager for individual and larger project efforts

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
2+ years of hands on testing experience with power products
3+ years AutoCAD drafting experience
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Solid understanding of basic generator and electrical distribution principles
Strong attention to details and diligent follow-through
Ability to understand, embrace, and implement new technologies as they evolve
Strong organizational and time management skills
General sense of resiliency with a positive attitude
Ability to work well with others from a variety of backgrounds
Willing to put forth the honest effort in order to be successful
Possess good, safe work habits in all environments
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Be able to give regular and predictable full-time attendance
