Job Description

Major Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements, and manages engineering projects to improve the manufacturing operations and processes.
• Prepares cost estimates for new items needed for production and new or modified tooling.
• Selects manufacturing equipment and tooling, prepares specifications, confers with vendors and procurement services, then prepares capital appropriations and/or procurement.
• Advises Manager, Engineering of plant equipment needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering
• Must be capable and have drawing experience with AutoCad and 3D Modeling software such as Solid Works
• CNC or 3D printing experience is a plus
