Summary: Our mechanical engineers are responsible for designing and creating models to ensure the highest quality products and services for EAFab. In this position, you will work throughout the conceptual stage, design process, testing phase, and production process.

Core Responsibilities:
· Read and interpret technical drawings to create 3D models
· Design custom equipment for the steel industry using AutoDesk Inventor
· Manage complex assemblies within 3D CAD systems
· Able to work both independently and in a team setting
· Generate accurate bill of materials and full 2D shop drawings for fabrication purposes

· Work in a dynamic, collaborative environment
· Operate and use CAD software to create 3D models and 2D drawings

Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field OR combined education and experience equivalent
· Proficiency in algebra and trigonometry
· Experience with creating drawings from 3D modeling environments
· Proficiency in AutoDesk Inventor, AutoDesk AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite
· Must be able to pass random drug testing
