Overview:

Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with a company that takes millions of pounds of cardboard (anything you would get from amazon, or any corrugated box you get from an online order) breaks down those materials down to its forged fiber & upcycles it into clean, sustainable and high performing materials that are utilized in the construction & furniture industries.

**Requirements: **

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or process improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, filtration, and conveyance systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Fusion 360, or similar) for mechanical design.
  • Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics software (ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, or similar).
  • Experience with machinery troubleshooting, process optimization, and system integration.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials selection, and fabrication techniques.
  • Understanding of industrial automation, PLCs, and motion control systems.

Responsibilites:

  • Design, develop, and modify mechanical equipment, with a focus on hydraulics, pneumatics, filtration, and conveyance systems.
  • Utilize Computational Fluid Dynamics software to analyze and optimize fluid flow and heat transfer.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, engineering calculations, and system simulations to enhance equipment performance.
  • Develop detailed CAD models, technical drawings, and specifications for manufacturing and assembly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid system issues in production applications.
  • Work with electrical and controls engineers to integrate mechanical systems with automation and control systems.
