Position Overview:

Looking to join the world leader in custom automation for the woodworking and related industries? This exciting position provides an outstanding individual the opportunity to mechanically design a wide array of custom automation. You will be challenged and rewarded on a daily basis!

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the engineering team to design automated machines, often one of a kind
• Specify components including: Motors, gearboxes, other power transmission, air cylinders, valving, vacuum, sensors, etc.
• Build bill of materials
• Machine design in Solidworks
• Support in house manufacturing, testing and customer runoff
• Interaction with customers throughout the design, build and runoff processes

Qualifications:

• BSME or associate degree in related field
• Solidworks
• AutoCAD
• Project management
• Creativity and problem solving skills
• Very high mechanical aptitude
