The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $22.00 - $30.00 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
This is What You Will do in This Role:
Assemble and wire mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies per work instructions.
Assist in the assembly of automated systems, enclosures, controllers, and other mechanical/electrical products.
Perform semi-complex mechanical tasks associated with sub-assemblies and final products in preparation for testing.
Support the setup procedures required for product functional testing.
Interpret blueprints and schematics and recommend engineering changes as needed.
Assist in the loading and shipping processes for final products.
Operate forklifts and/or cranes as required (training and certification provided).
Work in areas with potential hazards such as moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, and chemicals.
What We are Looking For:
High School diploma or completion of trade school preferred.
At least one year of practical assembly experience preferred.
Ability to read and understand written/visual work instructions and blueprints.
Visual acuity to inspect and assemble small parts with precision.
Physical ability to lift 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Experience operating forklifts and/or cranes (training provided).
Ability to identify and solve problems, even when they are complex or unexpected.
Willingness to travel and adapt to changing schedules and environments.
Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced production setting.
