Position Overview
The Mechanical Engineer will play a key role in designing and improving products and manufacturing processes. This position requires a hands-on, solutions-driven engineer who can collaborate across departments and contribute to both engineering and production success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and support ERP integration
- Design detailed assemblies, layouts, and production specifications
- Utilize SolidWorks and simulation tools for design and analysis
- Create and maintain engineering drawings and documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to define product requirements
- Develop and test prototypes to validate design performance
- Drive initiatives to reduce costs and improve manufacturing efficiency
- Analyze workflows and implement process improvements
- Ensure designs meet engineering standards, safety, and compliance requirements
- Manage project timelines and support production schedules
- Continuously improve product quality, durability, and performance
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
4+ years of experience in design or project engineering within manufacturing
Strong experience with:- SolidWorks (required)
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
- Mechanical systems and structural analysis
Experience working with:- Steel, plastics, composites, and non-ferrous materials
- Welding and fabrication environments
Proven ability to optimize processes and drive projects to completion
Strong communication and technical documentation skills
Continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving ability
Preferred Experience
- Background in industrial manufacturing or heavy equipment
- Experience with ERP systems and BOM management
- Exposure to cost reduction and production optimization initiatives
