Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development of next-generation energy storage and high-voltage products. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on product design, development, and production release. The ideal candidate has experience taking products from concept through production and thrives in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop OEM mechanical components and assemblies

  • Create and modify CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation

  • Support products through the full development lifecycle from concept to production

  • Perform engineering analysis and design validation

  • Collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, and product teams

  • Support prototype builds, testing, and production release activities

  • Identify and solve technical design challenges

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

  • 5+ years of Mechanical Design Engineering experience

  • Experience launching products into production

  • Strong CAD design experience (SolidWorks, Creo, NX, CATIA, or similar)

  • Experience designing components and assemblies for manufacturing

  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals including stress, force, materials, and design principles

  • Ability to work independently and drive projects forward with minimal supervision
