Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Olathe, KS. This is a hands-on role in a clean, climate-controlled facility where you will build and assemble mechanical and hydraulic components with precision and attention to detail. If you enjoy working with tools, solving mechanical problems, and completing full assemblies from start to finish, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in a stable and professional environment.
Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm

Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and hydraulic components according to specifications and work instructions
- Perform full mechanical builds involving components such as axles, wheels, radiators, and hydraulic systems
- Utilize hand tools, torque tools, and power tools safely and effectively
- Conduct quality checks to ensure assemblies meet production and performance standards
- Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and assembly documentation
- Troubleshoot and report assembly issues or defective parts as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
- Support continuous improvement efforts to increase production efficiency and quality
- Lift and move materials/components up to 50 lbs as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, automotive, or a related field preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Vo-Tech, trade school, automotive, agricultural equipment, or machinery backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply
