Summary:
Seeking the mechanically inclined to assemble large manufacturing equipment from the ground up.
Job Functions:
· Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and diagrams
· Operate 5 ton overhead cranes and drive forklifts - certification a plus, but not required, company will train
· Perform some MIG welding
· Maintain a neat, tidy and safe workplace
· Work closely with engineers to ensure quality and resolve issues
· Ideal candidate should be a self-starter and love to put things together
· Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and diagrams
· Ability to competently operate hand and power tools
· Must own mechanics tools
· Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
· Basic computer skills
· Steel toe shoes/boots required
· Work independently with little supervision
