Mechanical Assembler/Welder

Control Associates is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler/Welder to join our manufacturing team in Bloomingdale, NJ. What You'll Build:

·

Read and interpret complex P&ID drawings to fabricate industrial control panels and

electrical panels with precision

·

Fabricate piping racks and skids for critical industrial applications

·

Assemble systems using stainless steel tubing (.035-.049 wall thickness)

·

Work with PVC Schedule 80 and CPVC materials

·

Perform TIG root welding when required (approximately 20% of role)

·

Assemble components using Schedule 10 through Schedule 160 pipe wall thicknesses

·

Apply compression fittings with precision and expertise

What You'll Bring:

·

3+ years of experience assembling industrial control panels

·

Ability to read and interpret complex P&ID drawings with accuracy

·

Expert-level proficiency with hand tools for precision assembly

·

Experience working with stainless steel panels, PVC, and CPVC

·

Proven TIG welding experience

·

Capable of lifting to 65 pounds and performing physically demanding tasks throughout

the workday, including 30% of day standing.

·

Short learning curve - you quickly grasp processes, deliverables, and assembly pace

·

Background in Construction, Mechanics, Fluid Handling, and/or Pneumatics (preferred)
