**CNC MACHINIST/MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER
**
**Location:
** Itasca, IL
**Schedule:
**Monday through Friday - 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
**Pay:
**$23.00 to $30.00 (higher for candidate with welding and CNC experience)
**Employment Type:
** Temp to Hire / Full-Time

**Position Summary
**
Our client is seeking an experienced
**Mechanical Assembler
** to help assemble components and test custom designed capital equipment using various tools and equipment.
The ideal candidate will be:
Proficient in machine assembly with the ability to identify problems and develop solutions
Read and understand blueprints and schematics
Skilled using various hand and power tools
Willing to seek additional information from others when needed
Diligent, quality focused, efficient, and meticulous
**Experienced with general metalworking machines such as horizontal bar, lathes, and vertical milling machines a plus!
**
Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
**Mechanical Knowledge
**
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic written/verbal communication skills
Minimum of
** 4 years relevant work experience; assembly of equipment, fabrication
**
Able to work standing for 8 to 10 hours in shop conditions
Responsible to provide own basic hand/power tools
Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Driver’s license required
**Desirable experience includes repair of capital equipment, fabrication, and welding
**
**Compensation and Benefits once hired by client and becoming eligible:
