The San Marcos, TX facility is looking to fill a Mechanical Assembler III Role. You will plan and perform a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly, tests, fabrications, and inspection operations on various products in standard and non-standard environments to maintain flow of work.

  • We offer a shift differential of $2.00hr per hours worked on 2nd shift

What you will do:

  • You will work onsite at our San Marcos, TX Facility
  • You will work 1st shift hours for training purposes (7am-3:30pm) for up to 90 days.
  • You will work 2nd shift hours (3pm-11:30am) Monday - Friday
  • Reads, interprets, and follows blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions.
  • Operates hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment and light equipment.
  • Maintains inventory of product in workstations.
  • Performs quality work checks, identifies product defects and records identified defects.
  • Reworks and/or repairs assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
  • Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically, a High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant manufacturing/and or Assembly experience is required
  • 4 or more years of Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams and/or engineering drawings to assemble equipment.
  • 4 or more years of Experience with general hand and/or power tools

The salary range for this role is $43,357 - $79,442 annually; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
