Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. We welcome all those who have big ideas, crave innovation, want to drive fielding velocity, and have the passion to bring the warfighter home safe.
We are seeking a Mechanical Technician with experience in soldering and assembly for our first shift manufacturing team. Come support various programs in electronic warfare using your skills in manufacturing. You will work in a manufacturing team that supports critical mission capabilities.
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship.
Key Roles, Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
  • Assembles electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies and modules by working from samples, visual aids, prints, wiring lists and diagrams, routing instructions and process sheets using appropriate tooling and machinery.
  • Performs electronic and mechanical assembly operations such as wire termination, installation of wire harness, cable assemblies, high value torqueing and extensive attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with team members and engineering team to produce quality products.
  • Assembles, disassembles, and modifies various production subassemblies by following work plans.
  • Inspects results to ensure conformance to IPC-610 standards.

Required Skills and Education

  • Needs to be able to read and interpret work instructions and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience working with large complex builds.
  • Ability to become solder certified.
  • Effective communication and team work.

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Computer literacy
  • Experienced in electronic mechanical assembly
  • Soldering Experience Per J-STD
  • Ability to communicate well with others

Typically a High School Diploma and 1 year work experience or equivalent experience
