Join our dynamic team in Minneapolis, MN, as a Mechanical Assembler for Bigger Assemblies! In this role, you will play a crucial part in the assembly of large mechanical systems, contributing to the creation of high-quality products that meet our customers' needs. If you have a passion for hands-on work and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you! We do have 1st and 2nd shift and the pay can go up to $26 DOE

Responsibilities

• Assemble larger mechanical components and systems according to specifications and engineering drawings.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with team members and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
• Document assembly processes and report any discrepancies or improvements.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to assembly techniques.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in mechanical assembly preferred.
• Proven experience in mechanical assembly, particularly with larger assemblies.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
