Overview

Express Employment has partnered with a company in the West Des Moines area that is seeking an **Mechanical Assembler. $19-$27/hour.

This is a Direct Hire Role.**

Duties

• Assemble mechanical components and finished products according to specifications and work instructions
• Work with engineered thermoplastic materials and composite components to build outrigger pads and stabilization equipment
• Utilize hand and power tools to complete assembly processes
• Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment
• Package and prepare completed products for shipment
• Assist with general warehouse duties including material handling, staging, and inventory organization
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of mechanical schematics is essential.
• Familiarity with machining processes and the use of precision measuring instruments is an advantage.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate power tools effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work are critical for success in this role.
