Job Summary The primary responsibility of this position is to assemble mechanical components. This position is accountable for quality control, inventory accuracy, documentation requirements and safety.

Essential Job Functions

•Accurately assembles microscope components using examples, assembly drawings and instructions.

•Assemble small components using a high degree of manual dexterity as well as hand tools, manualpresses, lapping compound, lubricants and a variety of adhesives.

•Participate, support and comply with all Health, Safety, and Quality requirements

•Understand and apply established acceptable workmanship practices to all facets of assembly.

•Work independently and stay focused on tasks with minimal supervision.

•Read and understand essential manufacturing documents: drawings, Bills of Materials, workinstructions, inspection forms, work orders, labels, and travelers.

•Follow company policies, Quality Management guidelines, and Good Manufacturing Practices

•Previous assembly experience involving small component parts preferred

•High School diploma required

•Sitting for long periods of time

•Lifting up to 50 pounds
