**Mechanical Assembler

**

**Location:

** Northbrook, ILPay: $20.00/hourSchedule: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PMOvertime: May occasionally be required

**Position Overview

**

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products according to work instructions, and quality standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand and power tools, and pays close attention to detail.

**Responsibilities

**

• Assemble mechanical components and systems according to blueprints and specifications.

• Use hand tools including screwdrivers, wrenches, socket sets, pliers, Allen keys, and torque wrenches.

• Operate power tools such as electric screwdrivers, drills, impact drivers, grinders, and other assembly equipment.

• Verify proper fit, alignment, and functionality of assembled components.

• Inspect finished assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.

• Identify and report defective materials, equipment issues, or assembly discrepancies.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing processes.

• Work with team members to meet production schedules and goals.

**Qualifications

**

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.

• Experience using hand tools and power tools.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

**Physical Requirements

**

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.

• Ability to frequently lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to work in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
