Job Overview

We are hiring Mechanical Assemblers for a contract-to-perm opportunity in Franklin, WI. This 1st shift role focuses on assembling electrical switch equipment in a manufacturing environment using hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and assembly prints.

This is a strong opportunity for candidates with previous assembly experience or solid mechanical aptitude who are comfortable working with tools and performing repetitive, hands-on production work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical switch equipment at designated production stations.

• Identify, transport, install, mount, and bolt components.

• Use hand tools, power tools, air impact tools, torque wrenches, screwdrivers, tape measures, and simple measuring instruments.

• Perform mechanical inspections during the assembly process.

• Make simple adjustments as required.

• Follow work instructions, procedures, and assembly prints.

• Use material-handling equipment and overhead cranes when required.

• Maintain production requirements while ensuring quality standards are met.

Required Qualifications

• Assembly experience or demonstrated mechanical aptitude.

• Basic understanding of mechanical assembly operations.

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and air impact tools.

• Basic shop math and measuring skills, including use of a tape measure.

• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures.

• Ability to work Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM.

• Availability for Friday overtime as needed.

• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous mechanical assembly experience.

• Experience reading blueprints or assembly prints.

• Wiring experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• $20.00/hour – firm

• Contract-to-perm opportunity.
