**Desired Experience

**

You do not need every skill listed — CTOS values strong mechanical aptitude and the willingness to learn. We will help build on your experience.

Preferred experience includes:

• Truck & chassis repair

• Hydraulic systems

• Electrical troubleshooting

• Welding and fabrication

• Preventive maintenance and diagnostics

**

**Education & Background

**

Tell us how you got started — we value all paths into the trades:

• High school auto, welding, construction, or shop programs

• Vo-Tech or trade school training

• Military mechanical training and experience

• On-the-job mechanical experience

• Personal projects, racing, farm, or hobby mechanic work

**

**

**Licensing & Tools

**

• Valid driver’s license required

• CDL is a plus

• Personal mechanic tools preferred, especially for heavy equipment or utility truck repair

• Most shifts start between 5:00–6:00 AM
