Pay Rate: $30.30 - $36.19

Benefits & Perks:

· $2,500 Stay Bonus ($1,250 after 6 months; $1,250 after 1 year)

Position Description:

· Responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and making required repairs to this equipment; installing and dismantling all equipment, welding, pipe fitting, and other work as required.

· Responsible for general mechanics, pneumatics and power transmission equipment and repairs as it relates to wire and cable equipment; operating lathes, milling machines, drill presses and other machine shop equipment without direction.

· Will perform preventive maintenance procedures, 5S activities and participate in continuous improvement events.

· Must maintain work area in a safe and orderly condition at all times.

· Ensure all products meet requirements as defined by the Plant’s Quality Management Systems.

· Comply with all applicable safety procedures and ISO14001 EMS guidelines.

· Will be required to work overtime or different schedules when required and on short notice.

· Other duties as assigned by supervisor or a member of management.

· Must have all necessary mechanics’ tools.

Education:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English

Experience:

· Some manufacturing experience preferred or demonstrated mechanical ability in an manufacturing environment preferred

· Must complete OJT for specific job classification, as required, in a timely manner

Skills/Attributes:

· Must excel in quality workmanship and sustain a professional demeanor.

· Must be able to work independently according to verbal and written instructions

· Must learn basic computer transactions and inputs; must have ability to become certified SAP User

· Must have basic math and communication skills. Must develop and maintain proficiency in required job skills

· Must be capable of lifting or moving 50 lbs. and occasionally lifting or moving 75 lbs.

· Must be able to distinguish different colors
