We are seeking a skilled Mazak VMC & HMC Mill Setup and Programmer to join our dynamic team in Machesney Park, IL. You will play a crucial role in setting up and programming our advanced Mazak vertical and horizontal machining centers, ensuring that we meet our production goals while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate Mazak VMC and HMC machines according to specifications.
Program CNC machines using Mazatrol and G-code to produce high-quality parts.
Conduct tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to maintain optimal machine performance.
Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to specifications.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process.
Document production data and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Oversee a Team of 2 -3 Milling operators. Keeping them on task and assisiting them when issues occur

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
Proven experience in setting up and programming Mazak VMC and HMC machines.
Strong understanding of CNC programming, including Mazatrol and G-code.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Familiarity with precision measuring tools and quality control processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet production demands.
