Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and program Mazak CNC horizontal lathes to produce precision components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC machinist, specifically with horizontal lathes.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and Mazatrol.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and inspection tools.
• Experience with machining large shafts, large rings
