Role Summary

We are hiring a Materials Specialist to support material flow within a manufacturing environment, ensuring production lines are continuously supplied with the right materials at the right time.

This role is responsible for inventory control, staging materials to production lines, operating forklifts, and using WMS systems to track and manage raw materials and finished goods.

This is a hands-on role working between the warehouse and production floor, directly supporting packaging and production operations.

What You’ll Do

• Stage and deliver raw materials and packaging components to production lines based on daily schedules
• Perform inventory counts and cycle counts for raw materials and finished goods
• Receive, unload, and verify inbound shipments using RF scanners / WMS systems
• Operate sit-down forklift to move pallets, materials, and finished goods
• Use WMS (Oracle, Provia, or similar) to track inventory, movements, and transactions
• Pick, stage, and prepare materials for production runs and outbound shipments
• Conduct routine walkthroughs to ensure materials are properly located and production-ready
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and drivers to ensure accurate material flow
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and production environment

Must-Have Experience

• 2+ years experience in materials handling, inventory control, or warehouse operations within manufacturing
• Experience supporting production lines (staging, line feeding, material flow)
• Forklift experience (sit-down preferred)
• Experience using WMS systems (Oracle, Provia, SAP, etc.)
• Experience with RF scanners / handheld inventory devices
• Strong attention to detail with inventory accuracy and counts

Preferred 

• Experience in food, beverage, alcohol, or CPG manufacturing
• Experience supporting packaging or bottling lines
• Familiarity with TMS systems and shipment scheduling
• Experience in high-volume production environments
