Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Materials Handler to join our team in Loxley, AL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing operations by ensuring that materials are efficiently handled, packaged, and prepared for shipment. If you have a forklift license, packaging experience, and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Package products according to company standards and specifications.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and shipping containers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using basic computer skills.
• Utilize UPS WorldShip for shipping and tracking purposes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Valid Forklift License is a plus.

• Experience in packaging and handling materials preferred.

• Ability to meet physical requirements of the job, including lifting and standing for extended periods. (Musts have hand and arm dexterity as well as be able to lift objects up to 50 lbs. frequently. Must also have good vision to ensure proper spotting while operating a forklift.)

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

• Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel.

• Familiarity with UPS WorldShip is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
