We are seeking a full-time – 2nd Shift Material Handler - experienced or willing to learn all aspects of managing material in our Iowa facility. This position is responsible for assisting in a print manufacturing environment with a focus on reduction in cost related errors, exceeding client expectation, and driving a safe workplace. Prior experience as a Material Handler is a plus.  

10 Hour Shift - Hours 3PM-1AM

Responsibilities: 

  • Verifying and preparing materials according to work orders.
  • Supporting the mailroom by retrieving and organizing materials.
  • Sorting, organizing, and preparing finished products for delivery.
  • Operating material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (preferred).
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Identifying and reporting safety hazards and damaged equipment.
  • Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Collaborating to troubleshoot production challenges and improve processes.
  • Adhering to safety procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Participating in training and development opportunities.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as required to ensure the team's success.

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Printstream Software a plus.
  • Experience operating electric jacks, pallet jacks, and forklifts is a plus.
  • Able to lift and move 15-25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Able to stand on concrete for 10-12 hours and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, and stretch on a regular basis.
  • Willingness to work overtime when needed.   
  • Good interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members.  
  • Must demonstrate reliability through attendance and punctuality.  
  • Must be able to foster team cooperation.
