As a Material Planning Coordinator, you would support the Microwave North and MDF factories in the Amp Center on the NHQ Campus in South Nashua.   You would be responsible for moving material throughout the facility, placing picks for rework and processing Point of Use replenishment requests as well as investigate any shortages and process possible non-conforming material in and out of PMRB.  You would release Work orders into WIP and perform cycle counts and reconciliations of count discrepancies as well as process completed modules and subassemblies onto their next location.  This position requires about 50% of your time spent on the computer and the other 50% moving throughout the factory and/or facility to the stockrooms and other factories.  You will use Oracle ERP, Paperless, Dataview, Sharepoint, iportal, PLM and Nice label, as well as Microsoft Excel and Outlook. 

This position is in support of the Weekend 4th shift.

You would work closely with the VSS's and Factory operators as well and be able to work independently as the only MPC in the factory on the shift., so strong, clear communication skills for any hand-offs to other MPC's is essential, as well as the ability to walk in between buildings possibly many times per day. 

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.
This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Skills and Education

  • High school graduate with at least 2 years of related work experience, or associate degree.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, Ability to prioritize and multitask, and have a good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Good work ethic and able to work independently.
  • Experience in inventory management
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting

  • Dataview
  • MES system experience (Solumina, paperless or equivalent)
