Job Description

Cylinder Technician / Production Operatormanufacturing, production, warehouse operations, compressed gas handling, cylinder processing, industrial labor, plant operations, or chemical processing environments## Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Check in and inspect compressed gas cylinders
• Accurately maintain cylinder records and enter data into the cylinder tracking system (data entry)
• Safely operate equipment for refurbishing, painting, decanting, or refilling cylinders
• Maintain a safe work environment for all employees
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong attention to detail when receiving, inspecting, certifying, and processing incoming and outgoing cylinders
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Must be able to safely handle high-pressure and liquid cylinders
• Previous experience working with compressed gas and/or gas cylinders is a plus, but not required

• Basic Computer Skills
