Material Handler / General Laborer
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Material Handler/General Laborer to join our team. This position is responsible for moving materials throughout the facility, loading and unloading products, assisting with production, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse setting.
Responsibilities
Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
Stage materials for production and shipping.
Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment (if certified).
Assist production personnel with assembly, packaging, and other general labor tasks.
Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies.
Maintain inventory and organize warehouse storage areas.
Keep work areas clean and free of debris.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred.
Forklift experience is a plus.
Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic math and communication skills.
Work Environment
Manufacturing/Warehouse environment.
Standing, walking, lifting, bending, and repetitive motion throughout the shift.
Overtime may be required based on production needs.
