**Industry: Quality Technician Responsibilities:

**- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections using standard tools (calipers, go/no-go, etc.)

Record inspection results and complete documentation (inspection sheets, DQDs, NCMRs)
Identify, contain, and escalate nonconforming material per the control of nonconforming product procedure
Support layered process audits and visual standard checks
Participate in problem-solving activities (8Ds, 5 Whys, root cause analysis)

**Material Handling Responsibilities:

**- Safely deliver raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to and from production areas

Scan materials in/out of locations (if using barcoding or ERP like IQMS)
Perform physical inventory verifications as needed
Maintain FIFO and material traceability during all movements
Assist with packaging, labeling, and loading finished goods for shipment
Coordinate with production for material needs and changeovers
Pulling and staging shipments

**Qualifications:

**- High school diploma or GED required

Prior experience in quality inspection and material handling preferred
Ability to use measurement tools and interpret technical drawings/specifications
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (if required)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment
Basic computer/data entry skills

**The physical demands, work environment factors and mental functions described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.- Ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 30 pounds.

Able to bend, stoop, twist, stand repetitively for long periods of time 8 to 12 hours.
Able to bend the body forward and down while bending the spine at the waist 45 degrees or more either over something below the waist or down towards an object on or near the ground. Bending body downward and forward by bending legs and spine.
Able to use hands and fingers to seize, hold, grasp and turn objects/parts.
Ability to extend arms with the hands higher than the head; reaching at or below shoulder level.
Ascend or descend ramps and/or stairs using feet and legs.
Hearing: Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (machinery alarms, medical codes or alarms). Work frequently in close proximity to machinery, noise levels are moderate.
Close vision (distance of 20 inches or less) and able to identify/distinguish colors.
Temperature in facility can vary up to 90 degrees. Candidates must be able to perform duties in hot and cold environments.
