What You Need to Know
Genesis Products is seeking an experienced Material Handler with Forklift Experience for our wood panel processing manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Material Handling: Safely transport raw materials, finished goods, and supplies using forklifts or other material handling equipment.
• Inventory Management: Accurately track inventory levels, report shortages, and ensure materials are properly labeled and stored.
• Loading and Unloading: Efficiently load and unload trucks or production lines while ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
• Production Support: Deliver materials to production areas as needed to maintain workflow and minimize downtime.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols for operating forklifts and handling materials in a manufacturing environment.
• Organization and Cleanliness: Maintain clean and organized storage areas to ensure efficient access to materials and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Abilities

• Forklift Operation Certification: Proven experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment; certification preferred.
• Material Handling Expertise: Familiarity with handling raw materials, finished goods, and large or heavy items in a manufacturing setting.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Attention to Detail: Strong ability to accurately identify product, label materials correctly, and follow production schedules.
• Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a safe workspace by adhering to safety protocols for forklift operation and material handling.
• Organizational Skills: Capability to keep storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations across departments.
