SUMMARY
The Plate Saw Material Handler is responsible for packaging material, supplying raw material to keep saw production flowing, unloading trucks occasionally, and providing support for production and fabrication. This role involves using measuring tools, such as calipers, squares, and tape measures. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate well with others within their team as well as other departments.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent
• 3 to 6 months of related experience
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Knowledge of arithmetic.
• Licensed to operate forklift and mobile equipment, or able/willing to get it
• Able to read and use a tape measure and caliper.
• Basic computer skills, with working knowledge of ERP systems.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Routinely required to stand and walk; use hands to handle and feel; reach with arms and hands; as well as climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Routinely performs repetitive movements such as bending, twisting, reaching, lifting and pulling
• Routinely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
• Specific vision requirements include depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to wear all necessary safety equipment.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
• Routinely work in noisy environment.
• Routinely exposed to moving and mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.
