How You Contribute to The Team

The Material Handler II is responsible for receiving raw materials and performing fulfillment of materials needed for front-end production. 

• Operate forklift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 
• Maintain flow of raw materials to and from each work area on the front side of production. 
• Ensure machine operators have correct raw materials loaded in cages. 
• Maximize production output by anticipating and managing raw material replenishment. 
• Unload, inspect, mark, tag, record and verify all inbound raw material shipments. 
• Handle 2,000-pound coils with critical care and safety. 
• Weigh and record scrap at the end of each shift from each machine.

What You Need to Succeed

• High school diploma or GED.
• Post-secondary education in manufacturing, business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of material handling experience. 
• Experience with manufacturing processes, production scheduling and inventory management required. 
• Ability to obtain forklift certification and demonstrate safe forklift driving. 
• High level of attention to detail, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Strong communication skills. 
• Dependability and a willingness to learn.

Team members are paid weekly. The target hourly pay range is $23.75 - $27.75 depending on qualifications, experience, education, and other factors. A shift premium may be available depending upon shift and location. Our competitive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life, short-term/long-term disability insurance plans, 401(k) with employer match, tuition assistance, paid time off and paid holidays.
