Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize picking lists or electronic systems to accurately locate and select materials or components from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.
  • Perform pick tasks for customer orders – singles and multi, Kraus, and Display.
  • Inspect picked items for accuracy, quality, and condition, ensuring that the correct products are selected, and any damaged or defective items are properly identified and addressed, with your department leader.
  • Work closely with other warehouse team members, when supporting receiving and shipping tasks, to coordinate order fulfillment activities and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Sort inbound materials from outbound transfer order (OTO) carts to put away carts, physically and systematically. Collaborate with team members supporting receiving tasks, when there are issues with incoming materials and inaccurate documentation of received items.
  • Put away received materials to designated storage areas within the warehouse using pallet jacks, carts, or ladders. Safely and securely place items on shelves, racks, or pallets according to established storage protocols.
  • Verify all materials are transacted out of outbound transfers order and put away carts when cart is completed.
  • Prepare materials for repack production by kitting materials for work in progress (WIP).
  • Move inventory, physically and systematically, for inbound and outbound repack cell.
  • Receive materials, physically and systematically, for repack component salvage and raw materials.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing job responsibilities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years of previous experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing, or inventory management, preferred but not required, and/or knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and basic software applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Required to follow standard work and work instructions.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires working in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and physical demands.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, reach, and crouch.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods.
  • Depending on the organization's needs, there may be occasional overtime or holiday/weekend work during peak inventory periods.
  • If interested in future advancement in materials, the ability to become power industrial vehicle certified is required.
