Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our team in Bethel, CT. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently handling materials and operating forklifts. Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products and materials.
Load and unload shipments, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper handling of goods.
Organize and maintain the warehouse, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and cycle counts.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management promptly.
Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe workplace.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Proven experience as a Material Handler or Forklift Operator.
Valid forklift certification is a must.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
