We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our team in Bethel, CT. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently handling materials and operating forklifts. Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products and materials.
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper handling of goods.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and cycle counts.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience as a Material Handler or Forklift Operator.
• Valid forklift certification is a must.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
