Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Littleton, NH
Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday – Thursday
Reports to: Production Foreman
Job Overview:
As a Material Handler, you will play a key role in supporting our production team by ensuring the timely and accurate movement of materials throughout the facility. You will receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products to ensure efficient manufacturing and shipping processes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory.
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
- Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
- Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity, placing materials in stock.
- Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
- Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections, making operator repairs.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform quality work in compliance with the required standards as demonstrated in previous employment/experience
- Prior experience working in Manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Overhead crane, mobile crane, front-end loader, and forklift experience preferred
- Physically capable of doing the job (lift and carry up to 50 pounds)
- Must be able to communicate well with others and have good organizational skills.
