Join Our Team

Schwing America is seeking a dependable and motivated 3rd shift Material Handler to join our Parts Department. In this role, you'll play a critical part in keeping production moving by receiving incoming materials, accurately pulling and delivering parts, preparing shipments, and ensuring inventory is organized and available when needed. What You'll Do

  • Pull parts according to production schedules and deliver materials to the assembly floor.
  • Receive, unload, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
  • Package, crate, and prepare domestic spare parts orders for shipment.
  • Review shipping schedules, bills of lading, and shipping documentation for accuracy.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers using material handling equipment.
  • Stock inventory and establish locations for new inventory items.
  • Notify production teams when incoming parts arrive and fulfill production backorders.
  • Work closely with warehouse, shipping, receiving, and production teams to ensure timely material flow.
  • Maintain adequate shipping and packaging supplies.
  • Assist with inventory organization and general warehouse operations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution experience.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
  • Experience using computers to access shipping information, inventory, and customer orders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Work approximately 85% of the time inside a manufacturing facility and 15% outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required throughout the workday.
  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
