Material Handler - Chelmsford, MA

About the Role:

Responsibilities:

Material Handling: Efficiently move materials throughout the facility using pallet jacks, forklifts and other equipment.

Shipping: Prepare and package parts for shipment, load trucks, complete necessary documentation accurately, and ensure proper labeling.

Receiving: Unload incoming trucks, verify documentation, and inspect received materials.

Inventory: Participate in inventory management and reconciliation processes.

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic and commitment to personal and operational excellence.
• Excellent dependability and reliability.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new information.
• Proficiency in basic math.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks.
• Forklift experience is a plus!
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or similar environment is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move frequently for an 8-hour workday.
• Ability to regularly remain stationary at a workstation.
• Ability to frequently lift, move, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to ascend/descend stairs.
• Ability to sit, walk, climb, stoop, and kneel.
