About the Role:  Also, looking for a candidate interested in the opportunity to Cross-train into learning the belt operation and machine operation in order to create flexibility and rotation within our team! HEAVY LIFTING involved!

The Material Handler plays a crucial role in the our Manufacturing industry by ensuring that materials are efficiently and accurately moved throughout the production process. This position is responsible for the timely delivery of materials to various machine operators, which directly impacts the overall productivity and efficiency of the plant. The Material Handler will also be tasked with time management skills to keep production running smooth. Safety and adherence to company policies are paramount, as the role involves operating equipment and handling materials in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, the success of the Material Handler contributes to the seamless operation of the manufacturing process and the quality of the final products. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Transport materials to designated areas within the plant, ensuring timely delivery to production lines..
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize material flow and address any issues that arise.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include proficiency in using material handling equipment, which are essential for safely moving materials throughout the plant. Attention to detail is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that materials are delivered to the correct machine operators. Strong communication skills are necessary for collaborating with team members and supervisors to address any challenges that may arise during the material handling process. Additionally, a solid understanding of safety protocols is vital to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
