Job Location: Watson Furniture Group - Poulsbo, WA

Salary Range: $18.00 - $19.40 Hourly

Description

**Preference given to those with prior forklift experience.

JOB RESPONSABILITIES:

Follow all PPE and safety rules and regulations as set by Watson including affected lock out tag out procedures

Use common hand and power tools for material handling activities including but not limited to cutting, cleaning, measuring, inspecting, assembling, etc

Use electric and manual pallet jacks and dollies

Build pallets according to correct shipping specifications

Meet or exceed productivity expectations as assigned by production leadership

Examine products to verify compliance to quality standards

Communicate with other employees and management to avoid any mistakes and/or to address recommendations for improvement

Follow safety requirements and maintaining a clean and organized work area

Independently load and organize shipping trucks

Operate a forklift

Plan, organize, and package Watson products for shipment

Picking, storing, and sorting hardware

Inventory management

All other responsibilities within reason as assigned by production leadership

JOB KNOWLEDGE:

Material handling experience preferred

How to work in a required sequence to ensure alignment of the production schedule

How to use basic power and hand tools

A willingness to learn the Watson Production System

All other procedures and policies as assigned by production leadership
