Job Overview:

If you are a Material Handler looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson, has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Olive Branch, MS, you will be responsible for Less than Case (LTC) picking and packing of product and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accurate quantity and parts are shipped to customers in a production environment non-equipment operator. If you love working in a fast -paced environment, this is the job for you!

Shift schedule will be determined after training. There are 2 shifts (1st shift 6:00am to 2:30pm M-F, and 2nd Shift 2pm to 10:30pm M-F) 

 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Picking and packing product orders with use of a RF scanner. 
  • Complete all work in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and work in a high-demand productivity environment.
  • High attention to quality and quantity detail.
  • Maintaining housekeeping responsibilities daily.
  • Adhere to all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Non-equipment operator.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

 

For this Role, You Will Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 6 months of warehouse, picker, or related experience. 
  • Willingness and ability to work in a warehouse environment.
  • Work overtime as required, to include occasional weekends. 
  • Ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, push and pull for shift all product/carton weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Follow directions and see the task through safely.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Warehouse experience
  • Promote an environment where individual contribution(s) toward quality, productivity and cost improvements are welcome and maximized.
  • Basic math skills including counting.
