Material Handler

Location:

Olathe, KS

Pay:$17.25 per hour – Paid Weekly!

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• Night Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Position Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for supporting distribution center operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, packaging, and shipping. This role plays a key part in ensuring products are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of warehouse functions, including receiving, order picking, packaging, and shipping customer orders.
• Operate handheld scanners and other distribution-related technology and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly disposing of materials and keeping work areas tidy.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Utilize working knowledge of distribution center operations and processes.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making skills.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Maintain a positive attitude and uphold company values, ethics, and goals.
• Exhibit strong organizational and housekeeping skills.
• Work flexible hours and shifts as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
