Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team in Minneapolis, MN, 55414. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout our facility. Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials and supplies. Processes paperwork for parts being received. Receives the items into the ERP system after veryfiying counts and routes them to the proper location

• Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.

• Prepare materials for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve workflow.

• Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and cycle counts.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

• Locates or generates paperwork for materials being shipped, such as packing lists, purchase orders for outside services, and truck load lists.

• Works with inspectors to check quality of parts received from outside vendors.

• Assists in truck loading, unloading, and moving of materials.

• Acts as a backup DOT truck driver as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations is a plus.

• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).

• DOT health card (or willingness to get one) for backup driver duties along with a valid drivers license and clean driving record

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks.

• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
