Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday

Express is looking for a reliable Material Handler for one of our great Marietta clients. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone with forklift and overhead crane experience who is ready to put their skills to work and grow with a company. .

Job Duties:

• Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts
• Use hand tools to handle and prepare materials
• Package steel coils and bundles for shipment
• Wrap coils with waterproof paper
• Build or modify lifts for bundles
• Load and secure materials onto trucks for shipment
• Properly position and chock materials to ensure safe transportation
• Follow all safety and material-handling procedures
• Inspect materials for defects and identify potential shipping or handling damage

Requirements:

• Previous forklift and overhead crane experience are **required **
• Ability to safely handle and move materials
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
• Must be dependable and safety-minded
