A long-standing and rapidly growing industrial equipment manufacturer in the western suburbs is seeking Material Handlers to support expanding production operations. This company has been in business for over a century and is currently scaling to meet massive growth in the data center and machinery manufacturing sectors. With major new contracts and multiple divisions under one roof, they’re adding hands-on professionals who can keep materials organized, tracked, and moving efficiently through the plant.

What You’ll Do

• Receive, track, and move incoming materials, components, and finished goods across multiple production areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Support both the Consumables and Fabrication Divisions—ensuring parts, components, and raw materials are delivered to the right departments.
• Assist with inventory accuracy, documentation, and material traceability.
• Collaborate with purchasing, production, and logistics to prevent shortages and ensure on-time workflow.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and material flow.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3+ years of experience as a Material Handler in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (data entry, inventory tracking, documentation).
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to lift, move, and organize materials safely and efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Comfortable working overtime and occasional weekends.
