Job Summary

Responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and distributing materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and required documentation. Ensures timely material delivery to manufacturing and other departments while following company procedures, cGMP, ISO, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials according to documentation and temperature requirements.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare materials for outbound shipments and manufacturing orders.
  • Verify packing lists, purchase orders, bills of lading, lot numbers, and shipping requirements.
  • Identify and report damaged goods, discrepancies, and inventory variances.
  • Deliver accepted materials to the appropriate departments within established timelines.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, ERP entries, and daily cycle counts.
  • Prepare shipping documents, maintain records, and update material tracking systems.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, including FedEx and UPS.
  • Track shipments and communicate updates to relevant departments and stakeholders.
  • Operate hand trucks, pallet movers, and other material-handling equipment safely.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and efficient warehouse and distribution areas.
  • Follow company policies, cGMP, ISO standards, shipping regulations, and PPE requirements.
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and Customer Service teams.
  • Assist with physical inventories, peak-period activities, and overtime as required.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0–2 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory control experience.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or receiving software.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and contribute positively to a team.
  • Ability to operate hand trucks and pallet movers.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in refrigerator and freezer environments for up to 15 minutes at a time.
  • Willingness to wear safety shoes and required PPE, including lab coat, gloves, and safety glasses.
